Hill Country Texas to West Texas.

Hill Country on the way to Camp Wood, Tx.

After 5 weeks of looking, Pat and I finally find a Melita
filter, the white ghost of the black one I left in LA.

Sunset outside of Del Rio, Tx.

This gentleman rides his fixed gear bicycle around Del
Rio, Tx as a Little Ceasars employee. He's advertising
with his back wheel!

Just a few of the wonderful sheep we visited with in
Sanderson, Tx as we stayed with Judge Leo Smith and
his parents. We heard about their house from our bike
friend, Jeremy. Jeremy said we might be able to stay with
these people. As we rolled into town, the only information
we had was that we should look for a house, the last house
on the left, with a retired couple whose son was the county
judge. The house would also have an amazing garden...As we
started looking two teenage boys on the cross-country team
began chasing us and asking questions. They proved to be
of little help in finding the house. But, with luck, we found the
house and were indeed invited to stay the night.

One perfect kittne that I discovered at Judge Leo's house.

Pat is snubbed by a one week old kitten.

The house in Sanderson had two litters of one week old
kittens and another little of one month old calico kittens!

In Sanderson, yellow onions from the garden are hung to
dry.
