At the Van Horn Library

We arrived in Van Horn last night and camped out at the Primera Iglesia Bautista (First Baptist Church) of Van Horn. They were very friendly and gave us delicious enchiladas. Today we will ride to Kent, Texas after hanging out at the library for a while. This morning we also made a trip to the Van Horn Post Office and picked up mail. Amazingly the package from Stef's mom was here even though we thought it might not make it, the wonders of the postal service! Also Patrick recieved a letter from Grandma Theresa, thank you guys for the mail! Here are some pictures from Pat's camera from the last few days:

This is the closest I could find to Las Cruces Jail, the courtroom where Billy the Kid was tried.

The ride from Las Cruces to El Paso was filled with amazing Pecan orchards, here is Stef riding under the Pecan tree shade.

The view of the city from the outskirts of El Paso.

Looking for a bike shop in Western el Paso.

Border Fence in Ft. Hancock.
