South Eastern California!

We're at the trailer park in Oceano! The woman in front is
from Holland and was visiting California for her Birthday.
At dinner the night before we all sang Happy Birthday and
ate cake! Then she sang Happy Birthday to herself in
Dutch.

Elephant Seals near Hearst castle. The Middle school
kids standing next to us were shouting "flubber" and
"do the worm" while the baby seals (called weiners)
moved about on the sand.

A charming lunch salad with greens from the Pomona
co-op front lawn, carrots, strawberries, raisins, orange
juice, and the extra pieces of granola from Darcy's
bars (which are amazing! beg her some some). We were
eating in a park with an Easter fair and and almost got
a picture of the tell-tale bunny.
