magnets and wonderful notes written all over.
One note read "Leave others their otherness, "
and another "Support bacteria. They're the
only culture some people have." The story goes
that when BK (not pictured) first saw Vangie's
fridge, he knew he wanted to marry her!

We met Vangie at a cafe outside of New Roads,
LA. We asked to camp in her yard and she readily
agreed. Later, as a powerful rainstorm hit,
Vangie and BK opened their home to us and
were wonderful hosts and just downright amazing people.
